RISE held their 3rd annual NYFW Survivor Fashion Show at FORBES.
Created and organized by Amanda Nguyen, Vietnamese American Civil Rights Activist / 2022 TIME Woman of the Year and RISE - a non-governmental civil rights Organization.
The show challenges the question “WHAT WERE YOU WEARING?” - In Fashion, it is a celebration of identity. But for Survivors of sexual violence, the question was used to blame for what happened to them.
RISE NYFW Survivor Fashion Show empowers Survivors of sexual violence whom will walk the runway together with allies to take back their power, to show support and ensuring rights for survivors all over the world.
