“BÁNH” /ɓajŋ̟ / generally means cake or bread in Vietnamese - food that are made with wheat/rice flour. The ring is inspired by “Bánh Chưng” - a square shaped traditional Vietnamese Dish wrapped in specific giant green leaves (ie banana leaves), formally known to symbolize the Earth. The dish was created 400 years ago by our Ancestor to give thank to the Earth and the Sky and is served during the Lunar New Year Celebration.
